Role & responsibilities
The regional sales at Emerson India plays a crucial role in business growth in the assigned territory. This role will expand business and serve primarily for Power Water and Solutions business and other businesses within Control Systems & Software BU for East region of India comprises of West Bengal, Orrisa, Jharkhand, Bihar and Northeast.
Looking for a sales professional with 8-10 Years of Sales, Business Development experience in the field of Controls & Software, with excellent track record of driving growth and demonstrated customer orientation.
Meeting and exceeding assigned order budget.
- Responsible for forecasting monthly, quarterly POR using CRM.
- Engage into the assigned marketplace with complete PWS portfolio
- Ensure Greenfield and after sales Lifecycle business in assigned territories
- Finding new accounts/customers, opportunities for competitive displacements for sustaining business growth.
- Engagement and drive with all types of end users, consultants and OEM/EPCs.
- Maintaining strong customer relationships and key account management.
- Target existing customers with various solution offerings like Evergreen Programs, Upgradation/Migration and Expansion leads/pursuits.
- Act as voice-of-the-customer conduct between the field and concerned team members.
- Collaboration with business development team, Finance, Legal, Operations, Services and other Business units in your territory.
- Aligning with strategies carved by business and regional leadership
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience" in engineering.
- A demonstrated ability in Technical Sales and Business Development in the field of Automation for Distributed Controls System (DCS) with excellent track record of driving growth.
- Knowledge of Control systems DCS, PLC, SCADA.
- Consultative selling to build value for End User customers and consultants.
- To have sound understanding of Metal and power plant industry enabling to position plant automation concepts and appropriate interpretation of requirements.
- Very strong technical skills to be able to motivate & engage with End Customers and Consultants.
- Problem solver with excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and prioritization skills; highly organized and diligent
- Excels at self-managing workload and implementing multiple concurrent projects to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle conflicting priorities from customers and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to handle them effectively.
- Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.
