Assistant Professor - Textile & Fashion Designing

The JKKN College of Arts and Science is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Assistant Professor to join its Department of Textile and Fashion Designing. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to excellence in both academic and research endeavors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach courses in Textile and Fashion Designing at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and other related activities.
• Develop and implement research programs that support the mission of the college and department.
• Participate in professional development activities, including attending conferences and publishing research in peer-reviewed journals.
• Serve on departmental and college-wide committees, as required.

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. or Masters degree in Textile and Fashion Designing or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred.
• Strong research record with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience in using digital technologies in Textile and Fashion Designing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
