GITAM (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad Campus, invites applications for faculty positions in Economics.
We are looking for applicants with a PhD in relevant areas from a reputable university with a passion for teaching and quality research.
The faculty member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students, publishing in research journals, participating in academic activities such as supervising student research work, and engaging in professional activities, including institutional roles like support in curriculum design, outreach events and workshops/conferences and/or such other activities that may require your support.
Responsibilities.
Deliver engaging lectures and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Conduct innovative research in your area of specialization, contributing to the academic community and advancing knowledge in the field.
Mentor and advise students, guiding them in their academic and professional pursuits.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and contribute to the academic goals of the department.
Qualifications.
A Ph.
D.
in Economics or a closely related field.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas is desirable: Monetary Economics, Game Theory, Financial Economics, Behavioural Economics.
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment.
