Assistant Professor - Computer Science

JKKN College of Arts and Science is seeking an Assistant Professor to join the Department of Computer Science. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and research, and committed to promoting academic excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Teach computer science courses to undergraduate students
• Develop and deliver course content and materials
• Assess and evaluate student performance
• Conduct research in the field of computer science
• Publish research in academic journals and present findings at conferences
• Participate in departmental and college-wide activities and committees
• Advise and mentor students

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
• Strong background in computer science theory and application
• Prior experience in teaching computer science courses at the undergraduate level preferred
• Record of research publication in computer science or related fields
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and community
