Position Title - Assistant Professor (CSE)

Department: Computer Science & Engineering

The Candidate is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental and institutional activities. The role requires a strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and seminars in Computer Science & Engineering courses.
• Prepare course plans, study materials, assignments, examinations, and assessment tools, curriculum design, revision, and development in line with industry trends and accreditation standards.
• Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and guide academic projects and internships.
• Adopt innovative teaching methodologies and educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Conduct research in Computer Science and related fields and publish findings in reputed journals and conferences.
• Pursue funded research projects and collaborate with industry and academic partners.
• Contribute to
• Develop and support courses in emerging areas such as AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and IoT.
• Mentor students in academic, professional, and skill-development activities.
• Encourage participation in technical competitions, hackathons, workshops, and research initiatives.
• Participate in departmental administration, accreditation processes, and institutional committees.
• Organise academic events, faculty development programs, seminars, and conferences.
• Support admission, examination, placement, and other academic activities as assigned by the institution.

Required Qualifications

• M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering or relevant specialisation with First Class.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Full Stack Development, Blockchain Technology, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing
• Understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, DBMS, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Research aptitude and publication record preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment.
