Assistant Manager/Manager - Chartered Accountancy (CA) - Finance - Bigbasket (Tata Group)

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and dynamic Chartered Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, taxation, audits, compliance, and other core accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and finalization of financial statements
• Managing statutory and internal audits
• Ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
• Handling monthly/quarterly MIS and management reports
• Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Working knowledge of accounting standards and financial policies

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Expertise in taxation (Direct & Indirect)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and any ERP (SAP/Oracle preferred)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset

Qualification:

• Chartered Accountant (Qualified CA )
• Additional certifications (if any) will be an advantage

Salary:As per industry standards

Notice Period:Immediate joiners preferred / up to 30 days
