Assistant Manager(IT)

Job Description:

The Assistant Manager (IT) will support the planning, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure and digital systems across head office, project sites, and regional offices. The role ensures reliable operations, compliance, and secure technology integration to enable construction project delivery and corporate efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure including servers, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), virtualization, and storage (SAN/NAS). Expertise in Enterprise Architecture
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and hybrid Active Directory environments.
• Support ERP systems (SAP) and database platforms (SQL Server, SAP HANA).
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points).
• Assist and Strong knowledge for Develop IT policies, IT Governance and Best practices
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Provide end-to-end IT support for head office and project sites, including telephony, video conferencing, CCTV, and biometric systems, other IOT Devices
• Manage IT procurement, vendor negotiations, asset lifecycle, and license/subscription, AMC renewals.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation (HLD (High-Level Design), LLD (Low-Level Design), Acceptance Test Plan (ATP), As-Built) and ensure compliance reporting.
• Support digital transformation initiatives including automation, dashboards, and ERP integration.
• Train and guide team members, prepare reports, and deliver IT communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1012 years of IT experience, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing industries.

Certifications

• MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, ITIL, SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, AZ-305: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP

Required Skills

• Looking for L3 Level knowledge in all the below domains.
• Strong expertise in Windows server 2016, 2022 and latest /Linux servers (Ubuntu/RHEL/CentOS), virtualization (Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (E3/E5 with add-on full features), including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID, Purview, and endpoint management. Licensing plan. Features,
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP), API integration, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Database: SQL server, SAP Hana,
• Networking skills: Switching & Routing, Access Point: HP Aruba, CISCO, VLANs, NIC teaming, wireless connectivity, advanced L2/L3 support & Configuration, Routing protocols, ACLs, QoS, DHCP, 802.1X authentication (HP Aruba, CISCO)
• Firewall and security solutions: NGFW, IPSec/SSL VPN, SD-WAN, SSL/TLS inspection, intrusion prevention, SIEM/SOAR integration. (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Sophos), security prevention, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
• Hardware Security Module (HSM), Trusted Platform Module (TPM), Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP), User and Entity Behaviour Analytics (UEBA). Software-Defined Networking (SDN) security, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), BitLocker and other Encryption protections.
• Backup and DR solutions (Veeam), UPS management.
• Familiarity with SASE, ZTNA, CASB, FWaaS, and advanced cybersecurity tools (Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Twin gate)
• Cyber Security & Compliance, Governance & Audits: aligned with Industry Standards ISO 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, DPDP, ITIL and Zero Trust frameworks. and according to legal and company guidelines.
