Assistant Manager - Tax

• We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Tax team
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research
• The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Tax Manager in managing the tax compliance process, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and researching complex tax issues
• The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for building relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Tax Manager in managing the tax compliance process

• Prepare and review complex income tax returns

• Research complex tax issues

• Build relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service

• Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies

• Assist in managing the tax provision process

• Assist in managing and coordinating tax audits

• Assist in maintaining tax balances on general ledger

• Assist in preparing all tax papers on a regular basis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA certification preferred

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax department

• Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax laws and regulations

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills
