Position: Asst./Deputy Manager Site Audit & Quality Assurance (ITPL),

Location: Across India

Reporting to: Head – Risk and Vigilance

Grade: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager

Role Purpose:

To independently audit project sites across India and provide management with an objective assessment of project execution, quality of work, material utilization, contractual compliance, project progress, and adherence to company standards. The role is responsible for verifying that the work executed at site matches approved work orders, purchase orders, drawings, BOQs, project schedules, and quality standards while identifying risks, deviations, delays, leakages, and control gaps.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Audit & Inspection: Conduct planned and surprise audits of project sites across India. Verify physical work executed against approved Work Orders (WO), Purchase Orders (PO), BOQs, Drawings, and Project Plans. Validate project progress against approved schedules and management milestones. Assess workmanship, installation quality, and adherence to engineering specifications. Verify that only approved materials, brands, and technical specifications are being used.

2. Risk & Control Assessment: Identify risks relating to - Material pilferage, Fraudulent billing, Over measurement, Ghost work and labor, Unauthorized material substitutions, Inventory leakages, Delays, Contractor non-compliance, Poor workmanship, Documentation deficiencies, and Recommend corrective and preventive controls.

3. Reporting: Complete the standard Site Audit Checklist during every inspection, Capture photographic/documentary evidence of observations. Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, Root causes, Recommendations and Corrective action plans, share observations and track closure of findings.

4. Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with - Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement Team, Stores, Contractors, Vendors, Finance, Corporate Project Team.

5. Vigilance and information gathering: Establish and maintain credible on-ground information sources to support the timely identification and reporting of fraud, corruption, misconduct, and non-compliance

Required Skills and Attributes •

Strong understanding of civil, electrical, surveillance, networking, or infrastructure projects.

  • Ability to interpret BOQs, drawings, purchase orders, and work orders.
  • Knowledge of project execution processes.
  • Excellent observation and analytical skills. Investigative and vigilance mindset.
  • Strong report writing and documentation capability.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education, Experience and travel Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (Civil/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) or Diploma with relevant experience. • Certifications in Quality, Audit, Project Management, or Safety will be an added advantage.
  • 4–7 years of experience in site execution, quality assurance, or site audits for real estate, construction, civil infrastructure, or EPC projects. • Flexible to relocate based on project and audit schedules.
  • Extensive travel across India (approximately 15–20 days per month or as per business requirements).
