Job Title: Assistant Manager Security Vigilance

Location: Sambalpur

Department: Security Vigilance

Reports To: Manager / Head Security Vigilance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Assistant Manager Security Vigilance to help ensure the safety, security, and compliance standards of our organization. This role involves overseeing daily security operations, conducting vigilance checks, handling investigations, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations:

  • Supervise day-to-day security operations across company premises.
  • Coordinate with external security agencies to ensure adequate manpower deployment.
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance, access control, visitor management, and emergency systems.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and compliance inspections.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and implement corrective measures.

Vigilance Activities:

  • Investigate cases of misconduct, fraud, theft, or procedural lapses.
  • Conduct surprise checks, site audits, and inspections.
  • Maintain documentation and report findings to senior management.
  • Support in enforcing anti-fraud, ethical conduct, and vigilance policies.
  • Liaise with legal, HR, and law enforcement as needed.

General Duties:

  • Organize training sessions on security awareness and vigilance.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety norms, and company code of conduct.
  • Facilitate fire safety drills and disaster management protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and safety standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline (candidates with military/police background preferred).
  • 5 8 years of experience in security, vigilance, or compliance roles.
  • Strong observation, analytical, and investigative skills.
  • Effective leadership and crisis management abilities.
  • Proficient in report writing, communication, and MS Office.
  • Hands-on experience with security equipment and surveillance systems.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, or public sector units (PSUs).
  • Sound knowledge of legal and compliance frameworks related to corporate security and vigilance.
