Job Description
Purpose/Objective
-
To ensure sustainable volume growth and revenue realization from industrial customers through effective contract management, new customer acquisition, and expansion of gas utilization within existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities of Role
-
Existing Industrial Account Management: • Manage existing industrial accounts: - Monitor consumption vs contracted volumes - Track deviations and initiate corrective discussions - Support contract renewals and renegotiations New Customer Acquisition: • Identify and target new industrial customers: - Cluster mapping of industrial zones - Identification of fuel-switch opportunities (FO/LDO/LPG to PNG) Technical-Commercial Assessment: • Conduct technical-commercial feasibility assessments for customers Conversion & Business Development: • Drive conversions by: - Preparing customer proposals - Supporting negotiation discussions with lead Volume Growth Initiatives: • Identify low-hanging opportunities: - Additional lines within same customer - Capacity underutilization cases • Execute volume enhancement initiatives: - Load ramp-up plans - Expansion within multi-unit industries Internal Coordination: • Coordinate with internal teams for: - Connection commissioning - Supply stabilization Customer Relationship Management: • Maintain strong customer relationship and issue resolution mechanism Stakeholder Management: • Liaise with operations, projects, and pricing teams for seamless execution • Support regulatory and compliance requirements for industrial connections

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.
E.
) in any field, with MBA / PGDM (Preferred) Work Experience: 10-12 years of experience in Industrial Sales & Marketing roles Experience in B2B sales, key account management preferred Strong exposure to industrial fuel conversion, customer relationship management CGD industry experience preferred Preferred Industry: Experience in the City Gas Distribution (CGD) sector and related industries such as energy, utilities, or infrastructure is highly preferred.
