Role & responsibilities
Forecasting & Planning
To forecast & plan daily , monthly & yearly plan of activities for responsible area.
To plan & control development & cost control activities of responsible area.
Cost Control Management
Responsible for preparing Cost Estimation, Negotiation & Actualization of the vendor parts for resposible area.
Co-ordinate cost reduction activities like VAVE, Periodic Cost Down, localization etc inline with Targets provided by Managemnent.
To devise a scientific way to establish the current commodity prices (Like Steel, Aluminum, Rubber, PU etc.) in the market.
To ensure correct information of parts & cost in the system, PO,cost data for New development parts etc.
To submit monthly cost data to HOD of every model.
Supply Chain Support
To Plan & Ensure production capacity at vendor end to meet the company's production plan for responsible area at Part Development Stage.
To plan tooling of tooled up parts to ensure tool life of Sample and than support mass production.
To Plan & ensure with New model parts vendors for all the issues related to QCD.(Initial One Month from SOP)
Development of New Model & Minor Model Items
To develop new parts by controlling all development activities from drawing to finish part stage which includes drawing study, process study, cost estimation, actualization, LOI/LOC Issuance & PO approval etc for responsible area.
