Assistant Manager - MIS

Responsibilities:

• Professionals in this group understand, build & standardize the reporting delivery process.
• They identify opportunities to automate the regular and common reports globally with contextualization by region, user type and scope.
• Understand the reporting requirement, analyze, consult the business & implement the right metrics and reporting formats, set right expectations with stake holders, deliver on time with zero errors.
• Professionals at this level are experienced tech managers/managers and supervise professional level employees.
• They ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, clients and stakeholders and involved in setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results, It includes application of knowledge to practical issues often relating to more than one functional area.
• Provides overall direction for complex activities -providing guidance and inputs for a medium size project or multiple small sized projects.
• They adapt to various communication styles and interpret non-routine and conflicting information.
• They have good project and people management skills and require appropriate knowledge and skills to make sound judgments and select the alternate course of action.
• They are responsible for managing, coaching junior team members and provide inputs on appraisals/feedback to employees.
• They are responsible for allocating work and ensure delivery in the defined timeframe.
• Interacts with internal and/or external clients to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations.
• May consult with senior management.
