Job Description

Position: Assistant Manager MDM & MIS
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Thane, Mumbai


Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager MDM & MIS. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM), MIS reporting, data analysis, and process improvement. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and the ability to generate business insights through accurate reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Codes creations in SAP,
  2. DPR and Advance Payment release from SAP
  3. Participate in Tender and GEM (Government E-Marketplace)  processes:
  4. Reviewing open tenders on Tender247.
  5. Identifying relevant tenders for Welspun products in coordination with the Sales team.
  6. Reviewing technical specifications with the sales/category team for product confirmation.
  7. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal, and Distributors) to ensure timely completion of tender documentation and approvals.
  8. Preparing catalogues, distributor authorization letters, and technical specifications for tender participation.
  9. Obtaining all required internal approvals for tender participation.
  10. Participating in tenders on behalf of authorized distributors/Welspun.
  11. Handling GeM portal clarifications and queries for distributors/Welspun.
  12. Coordinating the submission of EMD and ePBG as per tender requirements.
  13. Informing the Sales team immediately after tender award to ensure timely order execution and delivery
  14. Ensuring complete tender cycle management and appropriate documentation and approvals.
  15. End to End Gem Portal management

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet reporting timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Power BI/Tableau will be an added advantage.
