Assistant Manager- Logistics

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end forward and reverse domestic logistics operations
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, operational SOPs, and best practices
• Oversee billing and charges reconciliation, including resolution of weight discrepancies, disputes, and claims
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, drive efficiency, and make data-driven decisions
• Handle ad-hoc operational challenges with strong problem-solving and ownership
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations associates to meet performance targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics operations (forward and reverse), preferably in 3PL or e-commerce logistics
• Strong understanding of domestic logistics processes and industry standards
• Proven knowledge of billing, charges, weight discrepancy handling, and dispute/claim resolution
• Strong numerical aptitude and hands-on experience with data analytics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to varied work demands
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team

Education

• B.Tech/B.E. from a Tier 1/2 engineering college
• MBA preferable
