Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, storage, and end-user computing.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of AWS Cloud services such as EC2, RDS, VPC, SES, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and related services.
  • Drive CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and capacity planning.
  • Define and implement infrastructure security standards, vulnerability management, and compliance with organizational security policies.
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and periodically test backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage enterprise servers, networking equipment, firewalls, routers, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, email systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance activities for all IT hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Develop, review, and maintain IT policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational documentation.
  • Ensure timely closure of IT audit observations and maintain compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, system enhancements, and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for infrastructure support, procurement, implementation, and service delivery.
  • Monitor IT service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare infrastructure reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
  • Mentor, guide, and develop the IT team while allocating work, reviewing performance, and ensuring adherence to service standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency, security, and scalability.

Perform any other IT infrastructure or technology-related responsibilities assigned by the management.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 812 years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud.

AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or equivalent) is preferred.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, RDS, VPC, SES, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and enterprise server administration.
  • Good understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Experience in Database Administration (SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management.
  • Experience in configuring and managing enterprise firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and network security.
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, virtualization, and high-availability environments.

Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
