Job Title : Treasury - Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Location : Bangalore, Electronic City

Reports To : GM Treasury / Manager - Treasury
Job Summary : The Treasury Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in the financial health of the organisation. This position is responsible for managing treasury operations, optimizing cash management, and supporting financial strategies to ensure liquidity and financial stability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of treasury functions, risk management, Insurance, and financial analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Cash Management: - Monitor daily cash positions and liquidity levels across all accounts. - Forecast cash flow requirements and coordinate funding strategies to support operational needs. - Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements.
2. Investment Management: - Assist in managing the organizations investment portfolio to achieve optimal returns while maintaining acceptable levels of risk. - Analyze investment performance and recommend adjustments, as necessary.
3. Risk Management: - Evaluate financial risk exposure and implement strategies to mitigate these risks. - Support compliance efforts with financial regulations and internal policies and hedging.
4. Banking Relationships: - Maintain and enhance relationships with banking partners and financial institutions. - Negotiate favourable terms for banking services and short-term & long-term credit facilities and finalise agreements.
5. Reporting & Analysis: - Prepare treasury reports and financial analytics for internal stakeholders, providing insights into cash flow and treasury performance. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
6. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with finance, accounting, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve financial collaboration. - Mentor and support junior treasury staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
7. Knowledge of Bank documentation, Letter of Credit and Bank guarantees.
8. Reasonable knowledge of credit rating exercise, Supply chain Financing & RBI rules.
9.Technical – Good knowledge in MS Office, SAP, FIS, etc.
10.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments. - High level of attention to detail.
Qualifications: CA or CMA, or CPA - Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management or corporate finance. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and performance analysis. - accuracy in reporting. - Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
