Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 operational support for Cisco and Arista network infrastructure
(LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center)


Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, performance issues, and
connectivity problems escalated from L1 support


Configure and maintain Cisco and Arista switches, routers, firewalls, and
load balancers


Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, port channels, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP,
EIGRP), and QoS policies


Perform software upgrades, patching, and device lifecycle management


Monitor network health using tools like SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center,
Arista CloudVision, or similar platforms


Collaborate with L3 engineers and architecture teams to support network
design and optimization projects


Support implementation of security best practices (ACLs, TACACS+, 802

1X,
etc)


Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical
issues or planned changes


Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, network diagrams,
and change records


Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
field (or equivalent experience)


years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking support


Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS/XE/NX-OS and Arista EOS


Experience with Layer 2 technologies (EtherChannel, STP, VLANs, trunking,
port security)


Good understanding of Layer 3 routing (OSPF, BGP, static routing, route
redistribution)


Familiar with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Arista
eAPI/CloudVision optional)


Working knowledge of network monitoring and logging tools


Certifications preferred:

o Cisco CCNA / CCNP Enterprise
Arista Cloud Engineer (ACE: L1/L2) or equivalent
