Architect

As an Architect, your skillsets will include an understanding of planning, design and material use. You will use your knowledge, expertise and skills to develop user-centred project across residential, retail, commercial and hospitality projects.

Here are some of your responsibilities in detail -

• Research, plans, designs, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
• Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
• Coordinate and integrate engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
• Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
• Produce construction documents in AutoCAD and create 3D modelling with rendering in SketchUp and V-Ray as necessary.
• Work with the Project Manager, and direct, supervise, and collaborate with team members to prepare drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
• Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
• Research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor s or master s degree in architecture from an accredited institution
• Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
