Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead adoption of GenAI and Agentic AI across Build and RUN for design, development, testing, impact analysis, bug fixing and modernization.
Use GitHub Copilot and AI agents hands-on in real delivery scenarios.
Define AI standards, guardrails, and best practices for enterprise-scale usage.
Build reusable AI assets (prompts, agents, playbooks).
Coach and mentor teams through workshops and hands-on enablement.
Demonstrate practical prompt engineering for real-world delivery use cases.
Ensure GenAI usage complies with enterprise security, IP protection, and regulatory policies
Partner with architecture, security, and risk teams to institutionalize responsible AI.
Mandatory Skills
1012+ years of hands-on software engineering experience (Java ecosystem).
Strong GenAI delivery experience using GitHub Copilot.
Hands-on expertise in prompt engineering and agentic AI workflows.
Experience modernizing legacy Java systems using AI assistance.
Strong SDLC knowledge and technical leadership experience.
Good to Have
GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security.
AI governance, telemetry, or adoption metrics experience.
Cloud (AWS/Azure) exposure.
Certifications in GenAI / Agentic AI / GitHub Copilot.
