Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning:Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
• Develop architectural and engineering designs that meet project specifications, codes, and standards
• Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications for construction projects
• Structural Analysis:Conduct structural analysis to ensure designs meet safety and stability requirements
• Assess the impact of environmental factors on structural integrity
• Select appropriate materials and construction methods based on structural analysis
• Project Management:Oversee and manage the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to address issues and make necessary adjustments to the design
• Regulatory Compliance:Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction projects
• Client Interaction:Communicate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
• Present design proposals and updates to clients and other stakeholders
• Innovation and Technology:Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and materials to incorporate innovative solutions into designs
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools for design and documentation
• Quality Assurance:Implement quality assurance processes to verify that construction work meets design specifications
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
