Application Support Engineer

We are currently hiring for an Application Support Engineer (L1) role with VLink India Pvt. Ltd., supporting our client Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs.

Please find the requirements below:

• 2+ years of experience in Application/Production Support, NOC, SRE, or Infrastructure Support
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, Route 53, and CloudWatch
• Good understanding of Linux fundamentals and system administration
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, Alertmanager, and ELK Stack
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
• Experience with incident management and tracking tools such as Jira, Wiki, PagerDuty, and Zenduty
• Basic understanding of Java, Spring Boot, Maven, and Node.js
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Git
• Knowledge of scripting using Bash and/or Python
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Experience monitoring application and infrastructure alerts and handling production incidents
• Ability to coordinate with Incident Managers, Engineering, Platform, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution
• Experience ensuring timely incident closure, documentation, and smooth shift handovers
• Exposure to the TV/Broadband domain is an added advantage
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills

Shift Details (24*7/ Rotational):

• General Shift: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
