Application Security Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain secure web applications using OWASP guidelines.
• Conduct DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) scans to identify vulnerabilities in web applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to develop secure coding practices and integrate security testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop threat models to identify potential attack vectors and recommend mitigations.

Job Requirements :

• 6-10 years of experience in application security engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of SAST (Static Application Security Testing) tools such as Burp Suite Pro.
• Experience with VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) methodologies and frameworks like OWASP ZAP.
• Knowledge of Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies and implementation best practices.
