Position Overview
Client is seeking a creative high energy and driven Software Engineer with specialized skills in AI platforms and automation to join our engineering team This role is critical in driving the next generation of our Agentic AI Platform focusing on the end to end lifecycle of AI agents robust API management and cloud native automation You will design and build scalable solutions that leverage AI gateways and advanced orchestration to accelerate business value through the Data Fabric
What Youll Do
AI Agent Platform Engineering Design build and maintain enterprisegrade AI agents using the EFX Agentic CLI and project scaffolding tools Manage the full lifecycle of services including Agent Registry Agentic Operation APIs and Agent Routers
AI Gateway Security Implement and operate AI Gateway solutions ensuring robust AI Authentication and Authorization AuthnZ through specialized Access Control Services
API Lifecycle Management Design and develop secure API specifications using OpenAPIYAML Create and manage API proxies rate limiting and security protocols via Googles Apigee and Developer Portal
ZeroTouch Automation Implement and maintain highmaturity CICD pipelines using Jenkins to achieve zerotouch deployments for both infrastructure and applications
Cloud Operations IaC Develop cloudnative solutions within GCP GKE GCS SDKs using infrastructureascode concepts such as Terraform and Helm Charts
Monitoring Reliability Oversee system performance using synthetic monitoring tools and other metricsoriented initiatives to manage reliability technical debt and service latency
Collaborative Innovation Participate in Sprint planning and retrospectives triaging complex service operations issues and mentoring team members on AIdriven workflows
What Experience You Need
Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Years of Experience 5 years of professional software engineering experience
AI Specialization Proven experience designing LLM applications Agents RAG managing agent registries and securing AI gateways using standard protocols eg MCP and AgenttoAgent A2A communication patterns
Core Languages Extensive experience writing and debugging code in Java GoLang and Python
Identity and Auth expertise OAuthOIDC and service to service mTLS
Data Protocols Proficiency in XML JSON JSONRPC and modern API design standards
Cloud Expertise 5 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform GCP
CICD IaC Proven track record of deploying software via Jenkins pipelines and managing infrastructure with Terraform
What Could Set You Apart
Advanced AIML Tooling Experience with vector search capabilities embedding retrievers and AI performance evaluation metrics
API Gateway Experience with API gateway managementApigee or similar
GCP Certifications GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Cloud Developer certifications are strongly preferred
Modern DevEx Familiarity with GitHub Copilot NotebookLM for technical documentation and Atlassian tooling JIRAConfluence
Systems Thinking Ability to apply a new perspective to existing solutions to solve complex problems independently
