Roles & Responsibility
Key Responsibilities
- API Development: Design, develop, and maintain APIs using API Connect and Data Power.
- Integration: Integrate APIs with backend systems and ensure functionality across platforms.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor API performance and optimize for speed and efficiency.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for APIs.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve production issues related to APIs in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new API features.
- Security: Implement security measures for APIs to protect sensitive data.
- Testing: Conduct unit testing and integration testing for developed APIs.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in API development and management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in API Connect, Data Power, and JSON/XML formats.
- Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Database Skills: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
