Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Quality Engineering professionals with strong expertise in Java-based automation testing, API testing, and database validation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent debugging and analytical skills, along with hands-on experience in CI/CD implementation within the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for API and backend testing using Java.
• Perform end-to-end testing of enterprise banking applications and services.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for APIs, backend systems, and database validations.
• Validate data integrity using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Analyze application logs, troubleshoot defects, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and test strategy discussions.
• Ensure adherence to quality engineering best practices and testing standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java API Automation Testing.
• Strong experience in Java + SQL Automation Testing.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in the Banking / Financial Services domain.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:
• Jenkins
• Azure DevOps
• Good understanding of backend systems, REST APIs, and database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation frameworks and API testing tools.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of test reporting and monitoring tools.
