Api Automation Tester

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build backend systems, APIs, automation scripts, and data-driven applications. The ideal candidate has strong Python expertise and a solid understanding of modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, scripts, tools, and reusable modules.
  
• Build and implement RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  
• Integrate applications with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and external services.
  
• Write clean, efficient, testable, and scalable code following best practices.
  
• Implement unit tests, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and availability.
  
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
  
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues in production and development environments.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
  
• Document system components, code modules, and technical procedures.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• Strong proficiency in Python 3 and core concepts (OOP, multithreading, async programming).
  
• Hands-on experience with at least one major framework:
  
• Django
  
• Flask
  
• FastAPI
  
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB).
  
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and API authentication.
  
• Understanding of package management (pip, venv, poetry).
  
• Experience with writing unit tests using PyTest or unittest.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized application development.
  
• Experience with asyncio, Celery, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
  
• Background in data processing, ETL, or automation.
  
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, JavaScript) is a plus.
  
• Experience in continuous integration tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  
• Exposure to Machine Learning or Data Science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow).
