API Automation Tester

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and develop automated tests for APIs using tools like Rest Assured.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Java Selenium.
• Conduct database testing and backend testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Work closely with developers to resolve defects and improve overall product quality.
• Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to process improvements.

Job Requirements :

• Strong experience in API automation testing using Rest Assured.
• Proficiency in Selenium Java and other relevant technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms, particularly AWS Cloud.
• Understanding of backend testing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodology and version control systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Flexible and willing to support projects when required, working in a "handshake" model with onsite counterparts.
