Job Description : We are looking for an experienced API Automation Tester with 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts for Web, Mobile and API-based applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, API Automation, Cucumber, GitLab CI/CD and JIRA-Xray and should be comfortable working in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using enterprise automation frameworks.
- Perform API, Web and Mobile application testing.
- Develop automation scripts using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and API testing tools.
- Design and maintain automated regression test suites.
- Perform manual testing when required and create/maintain test cases and test sets.
- Identify functional test cases suitable for automation.
- Create and execute CI/CD jobs using GitLab.
- Integrate automated test execution with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and report defects using JIRA/Xray.
- Provide automation status and execution reports to Test Leads and Test Managers.
- Work closely with developers, QA engineers and other project stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other Automation Engineers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Maintain automation frameworks and ensure quality and reliability of regression testing.
