Angular Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain complex, responsive single-page applications using Angular 18+ and TypeScript, independently owning features end-to-end.
• Build with modern Angular idioms standalone components, Signals, the built-in control flow (@if/@for/@defer), and zoneless change detection.
• Implement scalable, predictable state management with NgRx (Store, Effects, Entity; SignalStore a plus) and reactive data flows with RxJS.
• Build data-heavy, interactive UIs using AG Grid Enterprise and real-time charting with Highcharts.
• Develop reusable, well-structured components and responsive layouts using SCSS, ngx-bootstrap and Bootstrap 5, aligned to the firm's design system (MSUI).
• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, working comfortably across the request path from UI to service to data store.
• Write and maintain database queries and contribute to schema changes against relational databases.
• Integrate the UI with server-side logic in partnership with back-end developers, and extend existing services as features require.
• Write and maintain automated tests unit tests (Jasmine/Karma, JUnit) and integration/E2E tests (Playwright + Cucumber BDD) and meet code-coverage quality gates.
• Ensure application performance, cross-browser quality, and responsiveness for large financial datasets.
• Write clean, maintainable, lint-compliant code; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and CI/CD pipeline hygiene (SonarQube, Jenkins/Train, Gradle).
• Scope, estimate, plan, execute and track project deliverables independently.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and proactively improve the platform.
