1. Experience with Java and Android Frameworks.
2. Proficiency in Core Java and concepts like Multi-threading, Synchronization and Exception handling.
3. Exceptional analytic aptitude and attention to detail.
4. Knowledge on Multimedia frameworks like Android Opencore or Android StageFright.
5. Understanding of Eclipse IDE Functions.
6. Good XML parsing, web-service concepts, Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST,JSON, XML).
7. Should be fundamentally strong in Android development and should have basic knowledge of data-structures.
8. Good to have exposure to Android development frameworks.
9. Location based service, iBeacon, Push notification. Enabling rich customer experiences by leveraging various sensors on the device (Cameras, GPS, Gyroscope, accelerometer, Google Cloud Messaging, Google Apple Map Integration).
10. Experience building web and native apps.
11. Experience using social media APIs.
12. Ads integration using a 3rd party ad server (DART).
