Android Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, Build and maintain high performance, reusable and scalable android code.
• Understand business requirements and wireframes and translate them into high quality code.
• Delivering quality code well on time with primary unit testing
• Ability to work under deadlines and contribute as team
• Fixing bugs and feedbacks collaborating with QA team

Skills:

• Minimum 2 years experience in android applications development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Proficient with REST APIs to connect android application to backend web services.
• Solid understanding of Java, Android life cycle, Android SDK, Gradle and Data structures.
• Proficient with cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, Google APIs, Social network integrations and debugging.
• Ability to work with SQLite, JSON and OOP concepts.
• Understanding of Android design principles, interface guidelines, UI/UX conventions and best practices.
• Knowledge of open source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Proficient understanding of versioning tools like GIT, SVN etc
