Job Description

 

  • Cogniter Technologies is hiring a skilled Android Developer to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK , along with a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, app performance, and backend service integration. You will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Work with APIs and external data sources to integrate backend services.
  • Implement design architectures such as MVVM, MVC, and MVP for client-side development.
  • Manage app components like fragments and XML layouts effectively.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for reliability and performance.
  • Work with Bluetooth device communication using Android SDK.
  • Implement push notifications and integrate cloud messaging APIs.
  • Research and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies to maximize efficiency.

    • Required Skills Qualifications

  • 2 5 years of hands-on experience in Android development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK .
  • Solid understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience in MVVM, MVC, and MVP client-side architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of fragments and Android XML layouts.
  • Hands-on experience with Bluetooth communication via Android SDK.
  • Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Knowledge of Android Jetpack components.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
