Analyst/Senior Analyst - Contract Reviewer - 2+ Years - Mumbai

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst/Senior Analyst Contract Reviewer with 2+ years of experience in commercial contract review, drafting, negotiation, and redlining. The ideal candidate should have a strong legal background and hands-on experience in reviewing and managing commercial agreements while ensuring contractual compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting business objectives through effective contract lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

1. Review, draft, negotiate, and redline commercial contracts including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, service agreements, and other business contracts.
2. Identify contractual, legal, and commercial risks and recommend practical solutions to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business teams, and legal counsel to resolve contract-related queries and facilitate timely contract execution.
4. Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including contract review, approvals, execution, renewals, amendments, and repository management.
5. Develop and maintain standard contract templates and clauses while staying updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting commercial agreements.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 2+ years of experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and redlining commercial contracts.
2. Qualified Lawyer (LLB) with a full-time graduation; candidates with distance/correspondence education will not be considered.
3. Hands-on experience with US and/or UK commercial contracts or jurisdictions will be preferred.
4. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills with the ability to assess contractual and legal risks.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; prior experience in the insurance industry will be an added advantage.
