Analyst- Power BI

 We are looking for a detail-oriented Power BI Analyst to drive data accuracy, reporting excellence, and insight generation for FutureSkills Prime (FSP), a digital skilling initiative by nasscom MeitY. The Analyst will act as the bridge between business teams and the data vendor, ensuring that data flowing into Power BI is accurate, consistent, and aligned with business definitions, while also generating actionable insights for decision-making.

 Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility

•  Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that meet business requirements.

•  Ensure data accuracy, consistency, performance, and best practices in all reporting solutions.

•  Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows and applications to automate reporting, data integration, and business processes.

•  Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies, mismatches, and anomalies.

•  Perform source vs dashboard reconciliation (DB / raw extracts vs Power BI).

•  Work closely with vendor teams to report issues, track resolution SLAs, and validate fixes.

•  Collaborate with different business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business requirements into clear data specifications for vendor.

•  Convert data into business narratives and recommendations, and present insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

•  Prepare and manage reports aligned with government program requirements and formats.

•  Support audits and validation checks for data reporting in a government framework.

 Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

•  Proven experience with Power BI (reports, dashboards, DAX, data modeling).

•  Strong understanding of data concepts (ETL, SQL, data quality, KPIs).

•  Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

•  Excellent communication and international stakeholder management skills.

•  Experience in reporting in Government framework or analytics environments.

•  Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

•  Bachelor s degree in Engineering / Statistics / Computer Science.

•  3-5 years of experience
