Summary -
The Analyst US Market Access Analytics supports data-driven decision-making across US Market Access, Pricing, and Reimbursement. This role applies secondary analytics and statistical techniques to payer, PBM, formulary, policy, and claims data informing access strategy, contracting, launch planning, and performance management. Partnering with US Market Access Insights Analytics, BIT, and other teams, the Analyst translates complex access questions into actionable insights. The role also uses AI/ML techniques including thematic synthesis and pattern detection to extract signals from unstructured data and accelerate insight generation. The Analyst further contributes to reporting and innovation initiatives, driving analytical depth, scalability, and decision impact through AI-enabled methodologies.
Roles Responsibilities
Market Access Analytics -
Work with therapeutic area-specific team, delivering analytics and reporting on time, and to high analytical quality standards
Stakeholder Partnership Strategic Support -
Partner with US Market Access counterparts, Pricing Contracting, HEOR, and Commercial teams to align on priorities, shape analytical roadmaps, and scope key deliverables
Serve as strategic analytics partner for access strategy, launch readiness, pricing, and contracting decisions
Advanced Analytics, AI Insights to Action -
Guide use of statistical modelling, trend analysis, predictive analytics, and scenario modelling to uncover access dynamics and drivers; apply LLMs and AI to enhance insight generation
Drive adoption of automation and AI-enabled techniques using Claude, Databricks, Copilot, etc., to accelerate insights
Team Player Capability Building -
Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and meaningful work
Contribute in workload planning to ensure sustainable delivery and strong engagement
Data Infrastructure Governance -
Oversee dashboards, business rules, metric definitions, documentation, and automated reporting
Partner with BIT and data teams to ensure reliable, compliant, scalable data pipelines for payer, claims, and formulary data
Skills and competencies
Strong grounding in machine learning and predictive analytics, applied to solve complex business problems
Proficient in Python, SQL, MS Office with experience handling large datasets on modern platforms (e.g., Databricks, Spark)
Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI techniques for analytics like Claude, Databricks, Copilot, etc.
Strong understanding of US Market Access, pricing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex secondary datasets and policy information
Excellent communication skills, translating complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Experience
BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred with special consideration for degrees in life/physical sciences, applied sciences (computer science, mathematics, data science), or engineering
1 to 3 years of professional experience in US Market Access and/or Pricing Analytics
Experience working with US healthcare datasets including IQVIA/SHS national subnational data, claims, formulary, and policy data
Demonstrated success partnering with senior Market Access, Pricing, and Commercial stakeholders
Strong familiarity with US reimbursement, regulatory, and compliance requirements
Technical Skills (Preferred)
Proficiency in analytics and statistical tools such as SQL, Python, and R
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI or similar)
Experience applying AI/ML, NLP, and text analytics to extract insights from structured and unstructured data
Ability to integrate new tools, AI capabilities like Claude, Databricks, Copilot, etc., and advanced analytics techniques into complex environments
Experience working in collaborative analytics platforms (SharePoint, Domino or similar)
