Job Description
This entry-level finance position is ideal for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant seeking hands-on experience in accounting, compliance, financial analysis, and reporting within the SaaS industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support internal audits and help maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process and support expense monitoring activities
- Reconcile accounts and manage entries in ledgers
- Assist with preparation and filing of tax returns and related documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement areas
- Collaborate with senior finance team members and other departments on day-to-day financial matters
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and process improvements
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from ICAI (recently qualified/fresher)
- Good understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)\
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
