Ambulance Driver

We are looking for a skilled Ambulance Driver with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team at Sri Balaji Hospital in Guindy, Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving and maintaining ambulances, as well as excellent communication skills.

Roles and Responsibility

• Inspect the ambulance before each shift, checking fuel, oil, transmission fluid, wiper fluid, and coolant levels.
• Coordinate with EMR staff regarding medical supplies inventory levels and ensure the ambulance is well stocked.
• Drive the ambulance quickly and safely to transport patients to the hospital.
• Sanitize the ambulance and dispose of any medical waste and soiled linens.
• Maintain a driving log and daily entries, including travel timings, mileage, and service performed.
• Ensure all necessary checks are completed before starting work.

Job Requirements

• More than 2 years of experience in driving ambulances or other vehicles.
• Ability to work full-time and maintain a high level of energy.
• Strong knowledge of ambulance maintenance and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with first aid and medical terminology.
