Ai Ml Engineer

Key Aspects of the Role:

• Work as an AI engineer within the Veracode Fix engineering team and own the AI components of the product
• Design and implement experiments to strategically improve Veracode Fixs AI technology through proof of concepts (PoCs)
• Be involved in handling customer support requests to identify issues and future improvements for the AI components of the product
• Mentor and guide the developers in your team on AI techniques.
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements in AI research and technology. 

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in AI development.
• Proven track record as an AI Engineer, with portfolio examples of successful machine learning or AI projects running in production
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques essential for AI / ML projects.
• Strong understanding of various machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and neural networks.
• Hands-on experience with Context Engineering, Fine-Tuning (e.g. LoRA), Retrieval-Augmented-Generation (RAG), Multi-Agent Patterns or other GenAI techniques.
• Experience with AI / ML frameworks and tools like LangChain, Spring AI, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, Crew.AI, LangFuse, AWS Bedrock / SageMaker.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, enabling effective collaboration and code management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• A passion for staying updated with the latest advancements in AI research and technology.
