Job Description
We are seeking an AI Architect to define and build our AI capabilities from the ground up. This is a high-impact role combining architecture, hands-on engineering, and technical leadership.
AI Architecture and Strategy
*Design end-to-end architectures for LLM-based systems such as RAG, agents, and copilots.
*Define reference architectures and make build vs buy decisions.
*Establish a scalable and cost-efficient AI roadmap.
Hands-on Technical Leadership
*Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes; write production-grade Python code when required.
*Review AI/ML designs, implementations, and architectural decisions.
*Act as the technical authority for GenAI-related choices.
AI Platform and Foundations
*Define the initial AI/LLMOps stack, including model access, vector stores, evaluation, and monitoring.
*Set standards for prompt management, observability, performance, and cost control.
*Ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of AI systems.
Governance and Compliance
*Define AI governance, security, and data privacy standards.
Ensure responsible and compliant use of AI.
Collaboration and Learning
*Work closely with stakeholders across ideation, engineering, R&D, and QA teams.
*Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
*Continuously learn and apply new GenAI techniques and tools.
Mentorship and Enablement
*Mentor engineers on GenAI patterns and best practices.
*Create internal documentation and standards.
*Enable teams to deliver AI features with confidence and correctness.
Experience and Skills
*8 to 10 years of software engineering experience with recent focus on AI/ML systems.
*Proven experience delivering LLM or GenAI solutions in production.
*Strong Python skills (mandatory).
*Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and LLM APIs.
*Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
*Strong system design and architectural thinking.
*Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and take ownership in small to mid-sized teams.
*Experience with at least one of LangChain or LangGraph.
*Enterprise SaaS background.
