Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to join our Global Web Marketing team at Lenovo. This role will be instrumental in building and optimizing user-centric web interfaces that integrate seamlessly with AEM, driving performance, accessibility, and scalability across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Front-End Development
• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, reusable components within the AEM ecosystem.
• Optimize front-end code for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. AEM Integration
• Build and maintain AEM components, templates, and client libraries.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and AEM architects to ensure seamless integration of front-end code with AEM workflows and services.
• Implement personalization and targeting features using AEM capabilities. Collaboration & Leadership
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, best practices, and technical documentation.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies. Quality & Performance
• Ensure adherence to web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices.
• Conduct performance audits and implement improvements using tools like Lighthouse, WebPageTest, etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues across environments. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience with AEM component development, Sightly/HTL, Sling Models, and client-side libraries.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Adobe Analytics, Target, or other Adobe Experience Cloud tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design principles.
• Experience with performance optimization and front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM is a plus.
• Experience using Jira/Confluence is a plus. Soft Skills
