We are seeking a highly skilled Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade digital experience solutions using AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and front-end technologies, with hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance AEM applications.
The candidate will work closely with architects, UI/UX teams, QA engineers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative, customer-centric digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities AEM Development- Design, develop, and maintain scalable AEM applications using AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Develop reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services.
- Build and customize Core Components using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and Java.
- Implement Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, Editable Templates, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions.
- Configure and maintain AEM Author, Publish, Dispatcher, and replication environments.
- Develop custom OSGi services, Sling Servlets, Sling Filters, Event Handlers, and Workflow Processes.
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems using RESTful APIs and web services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring optimal application performance.
- Collaborate with UI developers to integrate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive designs into AEM.
- Develop responsive and accessible web pages following modern web standards.
- Optimize page performance, caching, and rendering.
- Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Manager, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Manage code deployments, code reviews, and version control using Git.
- Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Estimate development effort and provide technical guidance during backlog refinement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow coding standards and best practices for AEM and Java development.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure application security, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing sessions.

- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager development.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and Java design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Launch.
- Experience with headless CMS implementations and GraphQL.
- Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of CDN, caching strategies, and web performance optimization.

- Oracle Certified Java Programmer
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
