Job Title: Sigma Computing Administrator (Windows & Linux)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sigma Computing Administrator to manage and support Sigma Computing analytics platform across Windows Server 2019 and Linux environments. The candidate will be responsible for platform administration, system integration, performance optimization, and ensuring seamless data analytics operations in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sigma Computing Platform Administration

• Administer and support Sigma Computing platform, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Manage user roles, permissions, and governance within Sigma.
• Monitor dashboards, reports, and query performance in Sigma.
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to support data needs.

Windows Server 2019 Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2019 environments.
• Manage services, system updates, security patches, and Active Directory integration.
• Configure IIS, networking, and system performance tuning.
• Perform system monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.

Linux Administration

• Manage Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) supporting analytics components.
• Perform system tuning, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Automate administrative tasks using Shell scripting.
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization.

Data Integration & Connectivity

• Configure and manage integrations between Sigma and cloud/data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
• Set up ODBC/JDBC connections and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Work with ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.

Security & Access Management

• Implement authentication mechanisms (SSO, SAML, OAuth).
• Manage user provisioning and access control (RBAC).
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies.

Performance & Monitoring

• Monitor platform performance, optimize queries, and troubleshoot slow dashboards.
• Identify bottlenecks in data pipelines and improve efficiency.
• Implement monitoring tools and s.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Configure backup strategies for system configurations and critical components.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures.

Collaboration & Support

• Provide L2/L3 support for Sigma and infrastructure-related issues.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams.
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Sigma Computing platform administration
• Hands-on expertise in Windows Server 2019 administration
• Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with authentication protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth)
• Familiarity with ODBC/JDBC connectivity

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud platforms
• Knowledge of data visualization and BI tools
• Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, etc.)
• Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
• Experience in automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

Education

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Sigma Computing or BI-related certifications
