Location : TCS Kolkata - Geethanjali Park Plot-II/F/3, Action Area-II, Gitanjali Road, International Financial Hub (CBD), New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal, PIN 700156.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain on-prem Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments. 
• Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, and Organizational Units (OUs). 
• Manage hybrid identity setups including synchronization via Azure AD Connect.
• Monitor AD replication, performance, AD & Entra ID health and sign-in activity. 
• Implement and manage Group Policies (GPOs) to enforce system configurations and security and Azure AD policies (Conditional Access, MFA).
• Perform regular security audits and implement AD hardening measures.
• Automate repetitive administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts.
• Manage and maintain DNS zones, records and name resolution services
• Administer DHCP servers, scopes, IP allocation and lease management
• Troubleshoot AD-related issues including login, authentication issues including SSO, and sync failures, and access problems.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and infrastructure teams to support business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). 
• Good understanding of domains, forests, trusts, and replication concepts. 
• Experience in managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs). 
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022). 
• Create and manage users, groups and roles across AD and Entra ID
• Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and networking concepts (TCP/IP). 
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks. 
• Understanding Identity & Access Management (IAM) and RBAC concepts. 
• Knowledge of Hybrid identity (On-prem AD & Azure AD) sync using Azure AD connect
• Knowledge of AD security best practices (MFA, Conditional Access), auditing, and compliance.
