KMI Business Technology is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive specializing in TDS compliance to join our Finance & Accounts team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in tax documentation, reconciliation, and audit support.

Position Overview

• Designation: Accounts Executive
• Department: Finance & Accounts
• Location: Nariman Point / Churchgate, Mumbai
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in TDS compliance (Experience with a CA firm is highly preferred)
• CTC: INR 3,50,000 to INR 5,60,000 per annum
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities

TDS Compliance & Reporting

• Process Vendor e-TDS and manage all withholding tax documentation.
• Prepare and reconcile Form 26AS and other IPG Tax Reporting Schedules.
• Oversee Default Clearance and ensure all filings are accurate and on time.
• Calculate roll-forwards for deferred income taxes and accrued taxes payable.

Taxation & Financial Support

• Review Income Tax calculations and assist in filing Tax Returns.
• Gather and organize documentation for fiscal consultants and tax authorities.
• Support the preparation of Annual Financial Statements.

Audits & Assessments

• Conduct and assist in Income Tax assessments and audits.
• Act as a key point of contact for both internal and external audit requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements using industry best practices.

Vendor & Process Management

• Manage the Vendor Invoicing process with a high level of customer service.
• Ensure all invoice processing follows established company procedures and tax laws.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).
• Experience: At least 3 years of dedicated work experience in TDS (Service industry experience preferred).
• Skills: * Strong problem-solving and identification skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficient in invoice processing procedures and tax reconciliation.
• Commute: Ability to reliably commute to Nariman Point/Churchgate.
