Title: Accountant

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Experience :

• Must have 5-10 years experience in payable
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and education
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Knowledge of accounts payable, general accounting procedures and accounting software
• Strong systems knowledge and expert user of MS Office and Oracle
• Strong English communication skills
• Payables in a retail and/or wholesale environment

Role Profile:

The Accounts Payable and General ledger Accountant will be responsible for interfacing directly with our customers throughout the Middle east and Europe. You are responsible for ensuring the integrity of all financial data and transactions such as accurate and timely accounting of invoices, supplier payments, suppliers aging and accounts payable control.Review and verify invoices and check requests and set invoices up for payment

• Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments and monitor supplier aging.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding items.
• Account for rent invoices . Maintain prepaid rent schedules and ensure accurate monthly amortization to P&L.
• Support reconciliation of prepaid rent balances and ensure proper clearing.
• Support financial statement audits
• Assist in month-end financial statement close
• Support other accounting projects, as necessary
• Respond to customer inquiries.
