EXEMPT POSITION DESCRIPTION


Position:Accountant Location:Chakan, Pune,Reports To (Title):Finance Manager Supv/Mgr Approval: Date Department:Accounting & Reporting Department HR Approval: Date

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The job holder will be responsible for the legal entity accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance within APAC region.

DIMENSIONS:
Revenue: US$35 mil +

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Maintain routine accounting GL functions through working closely with various departments located in different offices.
2Handling asset Accounting for Belden India Level. Addition, deletion of asset from FAR (Fixed Asset register) in SAP. 3Maintain proper Fixed asset register for all locations. MIS reporting of all Capex and lease reporting. Capex Spend report need to be prepared on monthly basis.

4Proper maintain of all records of All Fixed asset. Lead on all Asset verification process. 5Lease Accounting for all existing lease
6Local GAAP closing support as per IND AS for Fixed asset and Lease accounting.
7Monthly Closing activities related to GL Team area of accounting.
8Provide financial data to various internal and external users upon request.
9Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement change as required
10Perform ad hoc request from management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience University graduated with sound accounting knowledgeQualified Accountant with US GAAP experience preferred
3 4 years solid accounting experience preferably with MNC environment or BIG 4 audit firm

Specific Functional/
Technical KnowledgeProficiency in Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
Experience in SAP FA and GL module CompetenciesGood interpersonal skill and can communicate well in English and Hindi Able to work under pressure and self-initiative Team player but also need to be independent Flexible mindset, easy to adopt to changes and take up new challenge.
