Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. End-to-End Accounting & Financial Control

• Manage the complete accounting lifecycle including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and closing processes
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
• Maintain books of accounts in compliance with Ind AS and applicable regulations
• Strengthen accounting policies, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and review financial statements in line with regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, Companies Act, and taxation laws
• Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections

3. Regulatory & NBFC Compliance

• Monitor and ensure adherence to norms applicable to Non-Banking finance companies
• Track capital adequacy (CRAR), provisioning, and asset classification
• Act as the key liaison with regulators, auditors, and consultants

4. Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Design and implement strong internal financial controls
• Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to governance standards and fraud prevention mechanisms

5. Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Oversee compliance with direct and indirect tax laws (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.)
• Ensure timely filings, payments, and tax optimization strategies

6. Managing Audit and Due Diligence:

• Handling the audit queries
• Having regular connects with Auditors
• Completion of Interim and Statutory Audit on time
• Providing information to Auditors on time as per the Audit plan.

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
• 10+ years in finance and accounting
• 5+ years in NBFC /banking sector - Preferable
