Academic Counsellor - Full Time

Job Summary

We are looking for dynamic and student-focused Academic Counsellors to guide aspiring students through their overseas education journey. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and counselling skills, be detail-oriented, and be passionate about helping students achieve their study abroad goals. Freshers with strong interpersonal skills are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study abroad opportunities, universities, courses and career pathways.
• Guide students through the admission, application, visa and scholarship processes.
• Assist with documentation, including SOPs, LORs, resumes and financial documents.
• Advise students on scholarship opportunities, eligibility and application requirements.
• Coordinate with students, universities and internal teams to ensure timely application processing.
• Maintain accurate student records and follow up on pending documents and payments.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars and other student engagement activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students and partner institutions.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and counselling skills.
• Strong organisational and documentation abilities.
• Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a target-driven environment.
• Knowledge of overseas education, university admissions and scholarships is an added advantage.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in any discipline.
• Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
• Experience in overseas education, admissions, counselling, EdTech or customer counselling will be preferred.
• Female candidates are preferred.
