Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer ( Mid-Level) with hands-on experience in .NET and angular & react to contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions for the Process Automation Industry.

This role is ideal for individual contributors who enjoy coding, problem-solving, and working on real-world industrial automation applications. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, architects, and cross functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable digital solutions.

This role contributes to ABBs Process Automation Digital division, based in Bangalore Southfield, India.

Note : This is a mid-level individual contributor role and is not suitable for lead, manager, or architect-level candidates.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET (C#)

- Build modern frontend applications using Angular, React & TypeScript

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and WebSockets

- Work on microservices-based architecture

- Integrate applications with industrial automation systems (SCADA, MES, OPC UA, PLCs, IoT platforms)

- Ensure real-time data processing and ITOT system communication

- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices

- Participate in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) sprints

- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and debugging

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science / engineering / related field

- 5- 8 years of hands-on development experience in .NET and React / Angular

- Strong fundamentals in OOP, REST APIs, and frontend-backend integration

Technical Skills :

- Backend : .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, Entity Framework

- Frontend : Angular, React JS, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx

- Database : SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL

- Cloud & DevOps : Azure / AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

- Automation : OPC UA, MQTT, SCADA, MES

- Security & Testing : Unit Testing, OWASP best practices

- Infrastructure : K8s / K3s / Docker, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure

Interview Process :

- Round 1: Offline Coding Test

- Round 2: In-Person Technical & Managerial Interview

- Interview Date : Will Confirm based on Coding Test results
